Learn to talk about future with present continuous (Grammar 14 p.79)

Before we start, do you remember the 2 ways we learned to talk about future? 

Future with be going to

Future with be going to 

1: plan and it's not fixed yet. 

2: something that you have no control over, such as the weather etc.

Future with will

Future = will

Shall I read ?

will you swim?

will he write?

Shall we  sing?

Will you dance?

Will they  walk ?

In questions, you use shall with I and

we. 

Future with present continuous

Talk about an appointment (afspraak) in the near future.

You know when it will happen, with whom, the place etc.

I am visiting the dentist tomorrow. 

He is seeing his friends this Saturday. 

We are having German lessons in an hour.
