Look for these: Yesterday, last week, in 1980, when, etc. (These are the same as with the Past Simple!)

Which one is the Present Continuous?

1. "I am working in the garden now"
2. "I was working in the garden a while ago"

Which one is the Past Continuous?

1. "I was heading to school yesterday"
2. "I am heading to school at 10 o'clock"

Dog       ->     Dogs                   Attach an -s after the noun

Tree       ->     Trees

Watch   ->     Watches             After a sibilant (sisklank), you use -es

Box        ->     Boxes

Enemy  ->     Enemies             Ends with -y, change for -ies
