Present Continuous - Duurvom

Welke drie tegenwoordige tijd vormen van 'to be' ken je?

Wanneer gebruik je de 'Present Continuous'?

• De vorm gebruik je als iets aan de gang is op het moment dat je erover spreekt of schrijft.
• Iets gebeurt dus op dit moment. NU!

Hoe ziet de vorm eruit?

- Stap 1: Kies am / are OF  is

am --> I

is --> he, she, it

are --> you, we, they

- Stap 2: werkwoord + ing

He is working at the moment.

Let op!

Als het werkwoord eindigt op een -e, dan laat je deze weg als je -ing toevoegt.

to dance - I'm dancing

Let op!

Als het werkwoord één lettergreep heeft en eindigt op een klinker + medeklinker verdubbel je de laatste medeklinker.
