Slide 12 - Tekstslide

Adverbs of manner

Dit zijn bijwoorden die iets zeggen over hoe je iets doet.

Slide 13 - Tekstslide

Adverbs of manner
Om bijwoorden te maken van bijvoeglijke naamwoorden hoef je slechts
-ly toe te voegen.

Bijvoorbeeld: soft > softly/sweet > sweetly

Slide 14 - Tekstslide

Adverbs of manner
Bij woorden die al eindigen op -y verander je het in -ily.

Bijvoorbeeld: angry > angrily/ happy > happily

Slide 15 - Tekstslide

Adverbs of manner
Sommige bijwoorden zijn onregelmatig (bad > worse) en sommigen veranderen niet van uitgang (early, hard, straight)

Can you use these words in a sentence?

Slide 16 - Tekstslide

Adverbs of manner
Je maakt de comparatives & superlatives van bijwoorden op dezelfde manier als bij bijvoeglijke naamwoorden.
Bijvoorbeeld: fast/faster/the fastest & slowly/more slowly/the most slowly
