Future tense, 3 ways

By the end of this lesson .....

- learners can correctly use 2 future tense structures and 1 present continuous structure in sentences when talking about the future.

Soon/near future:

I'm studying tonight.

I'm working next weekend.

I'm going on holiday to Fiji next month.

Near future / almost certain to happen/plan:

It's going to rain all week.

I'm going to study Spanish in Madrid next month.

Far away future/promise/less certain it will happen:

I will never (won't) drink again.

I will work harder.

I'll do it.

Aliens will invade the Earth.

In 30 years everyone will have chips implanted in their brains.

I will think about it later.
