Will:
  • Will is used to make predictions or promises in the future.
  • Will is also used to  make decisions at the moment of speaking.
Shall:
  • Only used in questions and proposals.
  • Can only be used with we and I.

To be going to:
  • We use going to to talk about plans decided before the moment of speaking.
  • You also use to be going to when you have proof something is going to happen.

Will and shall:
  • Predictions & promises in the future (not certain).
  • Questions and proposals, only with we & I (shall).

To be going to:
  • Plans decided before the moment of speaking.
  • When you have proof something is going to happen.
