Use be going to to talk about the future. You can talk about plans, or things you are going to do. 

Be Going To

Be going to can be followed by any verb.

I am going to buy a new sweater.

Julia is going to sing at the talentshow.

We are going to shop when we are in London.

The dog is going to jump in the water.

I know how to talk about future plans.
