• He/she/it + hele werkwoord + s of woorden die ervoor in de      plaats komen

When to use Present Simple

Om aan te geven dat iets vaak of altijd gebeurt:

I always go to school by bike.

Bij feiten:

Ice floats on water.

Bij gewoontes die worden aangegeven met woorden zoals: Always, usually, never en every weekend:

She studies every weekend.

Maar ook waarbij je je zintuigen gebruikt: See, smell, hear en taste:

We hear the engine of a car.

Ontkennend/ Vragend?

I, you = Don't / Do

Do you ride a horse?

SHIT = Doesn't / Does

She doesn't ride a horse

Past Simple 

Regelmatige werkwoorden:

Je gebruikt de past simple wanneer iets in het verleden is gebeurd en afgerond

Adverbs

• Adverbs beschrijven: 
                   1. Verbs: The man sings loudly.
                   2. Adjectives: The man is very tall.
                  (3. Another adverbs: Ended too quickly.)
• Adverbs eindigen vaak op 'y'.  Natuurlijk zijn er   uitzonderingen op deze regel, zoals: fast, too etc.
