Will (zal / zullen)

Will gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren.  Je weet dit zeker! 

I will get a new TV soon. I ordered it yesterday.

Vormen

Je kan will op twee manieren schrijven:

1. Lange vorm: Will
   He will close the window. It is cold.
   
   
2. Korte vorm: 'll
   He'll close the window. It is cold.

Ontkennende zinnen

• Bij ontkennende zinnen zet je 'not' achter 'will', of gebruik de korte vorm: won't 

I will not help you.           --- OF ---         I won't help you.

The cat will not eat.        --- OF ---         The cat won't eat.

His car will not start.      --- OF ---         His car won't start.

Vragende zinnen

Bij vragen zet je 'will' voor het onderwerp.

Will he see us again?

Bij vragen met 'I' en 'we' gebruik je 'shall' in plaats van 'will'.
