At school:

• Practise reading : by working with exams.
  You will work individually. After finishing some of the tasks we will analyse the text and discuss the answers.

At home:

• Practise writing : by working on the Pixar storyline project.
  This is a creative writing project! Deadline for the project: 31/03/2021

So, how does it work?

Step 1: For every plotline you write a few lines with a topic of your interest in mind. You continue doing this for every plotline. If you think the outline you now have isn't what you want it to be, start over. You should have a mini story by now, obviously it should be written in English.
Step 2: Send your work to your teacher for feedback! 24-03-2021 --> magister
Step 3: Think of the feedback you have received from your teacher and use it! Elaborate every section by adding adverbs/sentences etc. By doings so, you add more words to the story and make the story more detailed. This makes it much more fun for the reader to read your story. 
Step 4: Check your spelling/grammar/punctuation correct any mistakes. Imagine you are the reader, do you understand what the story is about? Add or cut sentences if you need to.
Step 5: Hand in your finished story! 31-03-2021 --> magister. Make sure your story has at least 750 words!

For all the Dutchies:

• Stap 1 Je gaat dus aan de slag met Pixar vertelwijze; 
   Er was eens een ___. Elke dag___. Totdat___. Daarom___. Daarom___. Totdat uiteindelijk___. 
• Je vult elk beginzinnetje met meer zinnen aan met iets waar jij over wilt schrijven in je achterhoofd. Als het goed is ontstaat er nu een miniverhaal. Vind je dat je verhaal toch niet leuk is of nergens over gaat? Dan begin je opnieuw. Uiteraard schrijf je je verhaal in het Engels.
• Stap 2 stuur je verhaal naar je docent voor feedback. Deadline 24-03-2021 --> magister
• Stap 3 Gebruik de feedback van je docent! Je gaat je verhaal nu verder uitbreiden en door schrijven door bijwoorden en zinnen toe te voegen. Zo creëer je niet alleen meer woorden maar ook meer details in je verhaal. Het wordt nu leuker voor de lezer om je verhaal te lezen!
• Stap 4 Check je grammatica/spelling en interpunctie en verbeter eventuele fouten. Bedenk jezelf dat jij de lezer bent, is het verhaal makkelijk te volgen? Voeg zinnen toe of verwijder ze juist als dat nodig is voor het verhaal.
• Stap 5 Lever je uiteindelijke verhaal in! 31-03-2021 --> magister. Zorg dat je verhaal minstens 750 woorden bevat!
