Het hangt er van af of het zelfstandig naamwoord daarvoor in het enkelvoud of meervoud staat.

Let goed op bij het lezen van de zin!

MAAR het kan ook zo zijn dat het zelfstandig naamwoord in het meervoud staat, maar je er maar één van deze groep bedoelt. Lees dus altijd goed de hele zin door!

Na deze woorden kun je one/ones gebruiken:

1. een bijvoeglijk naamwoord

                 There are big problems and small ones.

2. which

                I have to read a book. Which one should I pick? 

3. this/ that/ these / those

              Do you like thrillers? This one is a must-read.

4. als zelfstandig naamwoord

              Muffins? I like the ones with chocolate best.
