Students are preparing a play/presentation or a poster for Friday morning>they use the questions in the work-booklet to find relevant information.

Cookbook exercise:

EVERY group member must find a recipe from your country (snack or main course or a desert). - Your group will choose the best recipe to bake at home on the Thursday

Recipe must be: 

• In English
• Include a picture
• List of ingredients and the cooking instructions (method) 
• Font size 12

BAKING

Keep it simple! Remember that you need to bring it school!

There is no budget for this part of the project so make sure the recipe does't cost too much.

It doesn't need to be for the whole group - you can share with one or two groups (taking it in turns so that everyone has tasted something from another country)

Rules for using someone's kitchen

• Ask permission
• Do the shopping yourselves
• Make sure that you do ALL the washing up when you have finished.  

Presentation/Poster/Play

• Not longer than 10 minutes
• Five minutes for sharing the baked goods
• Everyone needs to speak for an equal amount of time
• Make sure you have rehearsed a few times
• Use cue cards - not too much reading from the board/script
