Lesson 1 

Goals:

At the end of this lesson you have developed your reading skills by reading a book and you have developed your listening comprehension skills by watching Human Playground. 

Workingmethods:

Individually

Reading

• We are going to read for 30 minutes during each lesson. 
• You may bring your own book or read one of the following 2. If you bring your own book, check with me first.
• At the end of the period you will do a book assignment.

Human Playground

We are going to watch a documentary called Human Playground. For the next 4 lessons we will watch parts of the documentary and do assignments.

Reading

Assignment 1

Watch the trailer and write down the following; What do you think this documentary is about? Do you think you will like it? Why? Why not?

Assignment 2

Choose one picture that you like best. What do you think this sport is? What are the rules? What can you win? What is the purpose of this sport? Write your own thoughts about this. Your story needs to be about 100-150 words per sport. Send it via Teams to me.

Assignment 3/4

Watch the first part of the first episode and do assignment 3 and 4.
