Future Simple

Vorm	Gebruik	Example:
Will (not) + hele werkwoord	Iets aanbieden	I will do the dishes for you.
Will + voornaamwoord + hele werkwoord ?	Beloftes	I will call you soon, I promise.
	Aankondigingen	Stacy will arrive at 2 o'clock.
	Besluiten	We will go to your place then.
	Voorspellingen (GEEN bewijs)	I think, the corona virus will go away soon.

Future Simple

• I will not/won't help you with your homework.

• I think that the concert _____(start) in a few minutes.
• I think that the concert will start in a few minutes. =voorspelling zd bewijs
• I think that the concert will not/won't start in a few minutes.

Future Simple

am/is/are + (not) going to + hele werkwoord	Iets (niet) van plan zijn	Ronan is going to visit his grandparents next week.

Future: going to

Future Simple

am/is/are (not) + hele werkwoord + ing	Afspraken in de nabije toekomst waarvan tijd en/of plaats al vaststaat in the nabije toekomst.	I am visiting the dentist after school. He isn't running a marathon this weekend. I am celebrating my birthday tomorrow.

Future: Present Continuous

Going to vs. Present Continuous

Kunnen vaak beiden gebruikt worden, ze geven beiden namelijk aan dat je iets van plan bent.

Als de afspraak helemaal vast ligt in de present continuous gebruikelijker. 

Let wel op dat je bij voorspellingen met bewijs alleen de going to constructie kan gebruiken! 

Future Simple

Infinitief + (s)	Vaststaande gebeurtenissen in de toekomst die onderdeel zijn van een dienstregeling, rooster, of ander schema.	The train arrives at six o'clock. Does the supermarket close at 6 o'clock? Our next class starts in twelve minutes.
