• Er staat een duidelijk tijdsbepaling in:
  -> last year, 2 months ago, yesterday, in 2010, etc.
• Regelmatige ww: +ed                             (bv. walked)
• Onregelmatige ww: 2e rijtje                (bv. bought)
• They walked to school yesterday.
• She went to the cinema last Friday.

PAST SIMPLE (-)

• Ontkenning
• did not / didn't + hele ww

• They didn't walk to school yesterday.
