The banana

A banana has a yellow peel and a light yellow-coloured fleshy inside. The inside is what you call the fruit.

Step 1: Pick the right banana

Choose a banana that is ripe but not yet over-ripe or brown. 

Step 2: Twist off the stalk

Grab the stalk of the banana between thumb and indexfinger and twist it off. 

Step 3: Gently peel off the peel

Peel off the exterior (the peel) from top to bottom in one fluent motion. 

Step 4: Enjoy your banana

Enjoy the nutritious and tasteful banana you have just peeled.
