3. Present Continuous                   The band is playing at the ArenA.

4. Present Simple                             Her train arrives at ten o'clock.

1. Will + ww

Als je een voorspelling doet:

           I bet Feyenoord will lose against Ajax this weekend.

Als je een belofte doet:

           I will be there on time.

1. Will + ww

De verkort vorm van will = 'll.

I will be - I'll be

De ontkenning van will = will not = won't

He will not go - He won't go

2. am / are / is       going to + ww

Als je wat van plan bent...

         I am going to do some groceries later today.

Als je een voorspelling doet, waar je bewijs voor hebt.

        Look at those clouds! It is going to rain.

Als iets op het punt staat te gebeuren.

        Watch out! That bookcase is going to fall.

3. present continuous

Hoe:                    am/are/is + ww + ing

Wanneer:          dingen die van tevoren zijn georganiseerd of afgesproken

I am giving a party next week. 

We are leaving at six on Sunday.

4. present simple

Hoe:                    shit-regel (1 woord, he/she/it ww + s)

Wanneer:          volgens een vast schema (vertrektijden, openingstijden e.d.)

My train leaves in 5 minutes.

The shop opens at 8 o'clock.

I hope the weather .......... nice. (be)

I offered him this job. I think he .......... it. (take)
