• future events that are fixed, planned or definitely decided

I am visiting my grandparents tomorrow.

Present simple

                                                            root form  or add -s/-es 

• Future events that are scheduled (on a timetable etc.).

The store opens at eleven tomorrow.

The train leaves at 10pm.

     Present Continuous
        to be + verb + -ing

• Future events that are fixed, planned, definitely decided

I am meeting my friends at the park in an hour.

       Present simple

       root form or add -s/-es

• Scheduled events.

The store opens at eleven tomorrow.

I ________ (meet) my friends in the park in an hour.

Past simple

Als in het verleden iets gebeurt, gebruik je de past simple 

The past simple eindigt vaak op -ed.
