• Tag questions zijn korte vragen aan het einde van een zin die je gebruikt om bevestiging te vragen.
• Als de hoofdzin positief is, gebruik je een negatieve tag questions en andersom ook:

He is a runner, isn't he?

Tara isn't in shape, is she?

Tag questions

• Als de hoofdzin een hulpwerkwoord heeft, herhaal het dan in de tag question:

You don't want to play, do you? 

• Als de hoofdzin geen hulpwerkwoord heeft, gebruik dan een vorm van to do, zoals in normale vragen:

You know who he is, don't you?

Louis and Sarah are very cool, ___________?

She isn't very nice, _____________?

They play baseball, ____________?
