Het gebruik van 'will' + hele werkwoord

*Je gebruikt 'will' + het hele werkwoord om de toekomst mee aan te duiden: 

-> I hope they will win the game! 

-> My father thinks  he will buy a new car next month. 

-> Oh look it's raining. I will grab my umbrella! 

-> I promise I will do my best on the next test!

*will + het hele werkwoord gebruik je om: 

- hoop uit te drukken: hope

- belofte uit te drukken: promise (beloof)

- een snelle beslissing uit te drukken (=> goed kijken naar de situatie: 'look it's raining; I will get my umbrella'.) 

will + het hele werkwoord

• verandert niet van vorm  he/she/it ...
•  I will help you with your homework.
• you will help me with my homework.
• He/she/it will help you with your homework.
• we will help you with your homework.
• they will help you with your homework.

Last but not least

-> 'Shall' gebruik je alleen bij 'I' en 'we' in vraagzinnen. Dit doe je om een voorstel te doen namens jezelf of een groep mensen.

Shall we go to the cinema (zullen we naar de bios gaan)? 

Shall I help you with your homework? (zal ik je helpen met je huiswerk?)
