1. If you want some explanation, pay attention (and take notes)

2. If you do not need explanation, you can start with the exercises already.

3. If you think this is very easy, you can get a more difficult hand-out!

Grammar 9: future for plans

If you want to say that someone has plans for the future, you use:

             Subject + am/is/are + (not) going to + infinitive (+rest)

                   Mark       is                     going to           walk in the afternoon.

                   I                am                  going to           swim in the weekend. 

Example sentences

I am going to go to a party tonight. 

Mom is going to do the laundry.

Sasha and Maika are going to walk in the park.
