In the 19th century daily life changed more than the previous 18th centuries. For example:
1)travel by train or steamboat 
2)Most people lived in the cities
3)Most people worked in the factories
4)All kinds op new products 
5)A lot of products were cheaper

Explanation: Industrial revolution
All these changes in daily life were caused by the industrial revolution.

Because of the invention of the steamengine, people started to manufacture products with the help of machines (mechanized)

Before the industrial revolution, products were made by hand.

Explanation: Agriculture
Because of the  industrial revolution farmers started to use machines. Farmers produced more goods and fewer workers on farms were needed.  

A lot of these workers moved to the cities for work. Moving to the cities is called urbanization. People in cities worked in factories

Explanation: industrialization 
(industrialization = building new factories during the time of the industrial revolution)
The industrialization changed:
Employement: A lot more people started to work in the industrial and service sector
Population: There were a lot more people.
Cities: More people moved to the cities (urbanization). Also more cities were founded.
Massproduction: Goods were produced faster and in large bulk. The prices of goods decreased. More people could buy things.
Society: a middleclass emerged. This group of people were the factory owners. They were getting more influence on politics.
capitalisme:  To own factories and gain the most profit became more important. 
Environment: more pollution
