Hoe dan?

 Bij een aangeplakte vraag in het Engels wordt het onderwerp en het werkwoord herhaald. Oftewel om wie het gaat en waarover.

Als de zin +bevestigend+ is, is de aangeplakte vraag -ontkennend-

+His friend is+ nice, -isn't he?-

Als de zin -ontkennend- is, is de aangeplakte vraag +bevestigend+

-They can't- help us, +can they?+
