Some and any have the same meaning,
but are used in different kinds of sentences.
Some is used in bevestigende zinnen / affirmative sentences, these usually end with a . or ! and don't have 'not' in it.

Any is used in questions (?) 
and sentences with the word 'not' in it. (negative sentences)
