Objective:

This development plan is designed to facilitate a focused revision session for Level 2 Agricultural Engineering students, covering key topics including Engines, Hydraulics, Mechanical Power Transmission, Starting and Charging Systems, and Electrics within a 3-hour period.

Engines:

Quick review of engine components and functions.

Sequence for firing (Induction, Compression, Power , Exhaust)

Brief overview of maintenance procedures.

Hydraulics:

Recap of hydraulic principles, hydraulic systems.

Summary of key hydraulic components and their functions.

Practice reading simple hydraulic circuits.

Mechanical Power Transmission:

Overview of mechanical power transmission methods: gears, belts, chains, and couplings. Why using these in the given application

Starting and Charging Systems:

Diagnosing common issues in starting and charging systems.
