What do you always have to do?

  • Always take a notebook with you to class. 
  • Write down the grammar rules in your notebook.
  • Write other important stuff in your notebook.

No notebook (or an empty one) means that you've forgotten your work.


Create a vocabulary list at the end of your notebook. This broadens your vocabulary and help you remember more.

Activity:
  • Look at your own fingerprint and choose one of the three fingerprint templates. (Loop, whorl, arch)
  • Students write about themselves on the lines of the fingerprint.

Use the question prompts to help you:
  • Write about what makes you unique.
  • Write about your favourite things.
  • Write about a unique experience.
  • Write about what makes you happy.
  • Write about your body: height, eye colour, blood type (ask your grown up), fingerprints (loop, whorl, arch) hair colour/length/style, birthmarks, which toe is the longest, etc., talents, flexibility, singing voice, right-handed or left-handed.
  • How will you leave your mark? What positive things will you do to help change society? (Read the paper, vote, volunteer, donate, use kind words or invite others to sit with you at lunch.)

Tips
