Did Germans know about what was going on, you think? Please explain your answer.

What I think is what happened is that most Germans honestly did not know where the trains were taking the Jews. But the ones that did have a bad feeling about the whole thing also did not want to know more. They probably figured the less they would know, the safer they would be.

3. After reviewing the section in the book, the ppt and the video, would you say this is all in the past, or is this topic still with us today? Please explain in a number of sentences.

It is still with us today. Because in some sort of way the Holocaust was racism and discrimination. And that are things that still happen alot nowadays. People being harrased because of something that is not really their fault.

Who in the video would you have liked to interview?

I would interview president Hindenburg. Before Hitler came to power, Hindenburg was the man in charge of the country. I want to know his opinion about Hitler and what he thought about Hitlers plans. What do you think about Hitler as in a person? Do you agree with the plans that Hitler has? Do you think Hitler is a good successor? Where do you see Germany with Hitler in charge? These are several questions I would like to ask president Hindenburg.
