1. Position of adjectives

Where do you normally place adjectives?

1. Before the noun
2. After the noun

Exception!

Adjectives come after an indefinite pronoun (someone, anyone, anybody, somebody, something, ...).

Choose the right answer:
'Can they find [...] of taking his place in the team?'

1. capable someone
2. someone capable

Choose the right option:
'I have got [...] for you.'

1. special something.
2. something special.

2. Position of adverbs

How many adverb positions do we have?

1. One!
2. Two!
3. Three!
4. Four!

We have three positions!

Front position (= beginning of the sentence)

Mid position (= before main verb or after 1st auxiliary verb)

End position (= at the end of the sentence)

Depending on the position, we prefer different types of adverbs.
