What is Electricity?

Electricity is a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles. It powers our homes, devices, and much more!

Understanding Circuits

A circuit is a closed loop that allows electricity to flow. It consists of a power source, conductors, and a load.

Components of a Series Circuit

A series circuit includes: cells (batteries), wires, bulbs, switches, and buzzers. All parts are connected in a single loop.

Constructing a Series Circuit

To build a series circuit: connect the cell, bulb, switch, and buzzer with wires in a single path.

The Role of Each Component

Cells provide power. Wires conduct electricity. Bulbs light up. Switches control the flow. Buzzers make sound.

Testing Your Circuit

Close the switch to see if the bulb lights and the buzzer sounds. If not, check connections and components.
