Present simple/continuous

Present simple: 

I walk to school every day.

Present continuous:

I am walking to school right now.

Present Simple

When:

- something is always true (fact)

        Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius

- something happens regularly (habits - gewoontes)

I walk to school every day

Recognise: often, usually, never, always, every day/month, twice a week. or like, love, know, hate

Present simple

Make it: Person + verb (ww) + rest of sentence

I walk to school every day

He/she/it: verb + s   (the SHIT rule)

She walks to school every day

When:

- something is happening at the moment

Recognise: right now, at the moment, now

Present Continuous

Make it: Person + am/are/is +  verb (ww) + ing + rest of sentence

                   I am walking to school right now

                  she is walking to school at the moment
