Future

What will you do / are you going to do this weekend?

1. I am going to a friends' party.​

Future

- Je gebruikt de volgende werkwoorden als je hebt het over de toekomst:

1. to be going to

2. will

3. shall

4. present simple

5. present continuous

to be going to

1.  voorspelling (zeker) ​

 bijv:  Look at the clouds.​ It is going to rain today. 

​

2.  plan (gepland)

​bijv:  We are going to visit the museum today. I bought the ticket last week. ​

​

Vorm: to be going to + hele ww

 will

1.   voorspelling (onzeker)​

bijv:   I think the weather will be fantastic today.​​

2.    plan (spontaan)​

bijv:  I am tired, mum. Wait, I will help you.​​ 

3.  belofte ​

bijv:  I will marry you.

Vorm: will + hele ww

present simple

Over feiten/gewoontes in de toekomst. 

Het gaat dan om  tijdschema's, roosters & dienstregeling.

E.g. 1. Our holiday starts on 20 July.​

2. The last metro leaves central station at 12pm every night.

E.g 1. Shall I buy the tickets?

2. Shall we go for a swim? It is very hot.

Over feiten/gewoontes in de toekomst. 

Het gaat dan om  tijdschema's, roosters & dienstregeling.

voor gemaakte afspraken  die gaan nog  plaatsvinden.

bijv: 3. My dentist is taking care of my teeth tomorrow.
