Who does the book talk about? From which communities in our society do they come form?

ASSIGNMENT:

There are seven continents: Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.

Find a news article about gender, harassment and/or discrimination from each continent. You are going to give a presentation about one of these issues in the news. The presentation must be approximately 2-3 minutes.

Introduction	ice breaker-attention grabber- Scientists say that we have reached a 'tipping-point' and that if we continue to live the way we have, the effects of climate change will be incredibly difficult if not impossible to reverse.
	GOP26 is 200 world leaders coming together to show their plans for cutting emissions by the year 2030. These emissions that we create from heating our homes, driving cars, farming are causing the planet's temperature to rise dangerously.
	Leaders and large companies need to actively aim at reducing emissions . The temperature must not rise more than 1.5C this century. Countries need to reach 'Net Zero' by 2050 meaning that a country takes as much of these climate changing gases out of the atmosphere as it is putting it into the atmosphere.This way we can avoid catastrophe.
	How can we do that? by planting trees and cutting down fewer trees on a global scale. By stopping coal power faster. By protecting more people from the impacts of climate change. By using renewable energy without CO2 emisions.
conclusion	we need to do it together. We need to change how we live and become more aware of how our lifestyle is having an impct on the planet. Find ways to make change.. Maybe even become a scientist or an economist whose goal is to change the lifstyle we know into a sustainable one.
