I am sorry to hear you lost your job. Have you received an invitation for a job interview yet? I have just sent out a letter of application for a new job at my current employer. I really hope to get this job.

I have a really nice surprise for you and I hope you are available for a week in August. I managed to get tickets for a U2 concert on Wednesday 8 August in London. You are invited to join me.

3e alinea

Since it is impossible for the both of us to travel from and to London in one day I suggest to stay there for a week. I can go to London from Saturday 4 August till Friday 10 August. I found a nice and cheap Bed and Breakfast on the internet near Earls Court station. The concert is on Wednesday so we can go out in Soho at the weekend.
