Wanneer? Als iets altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurd 

Voorbeelden

I walk to school every day.
My baby sister sleeps a lot.
He loves reading books.
They have a nice dog.

Bij He-She-It => komt een s achter het werkwoord = the SHIT-regel

Vragende zinnen

In het Engels worden zinnen vragend gemaakt door er een woordje bij te halen: Do voor I, You, We, They
                                            Does voor He, She, It
Do of does komt vooraan de zin te staan
bijvoorbeeld:  You like dogs. => Do you like dogs?
LET OP!
       She reads a lot. => Does she read a lot?

Ontkennende zinnen (not)

In het Engels worden zinnen ontkennend gemaakt door do not (don't) of does not (doesn't) vóór het werkwoord te plaatsen.
ook hier de regel: do not voor I, You, We, They
                                     does not voor He, She, It
bijvoorbeeld: You like dogs. => You do not (don't) like dogs.
LET OP!
She reads a lot => She does not (doesnt) read a lot.
