Present Continuous


Use the present continuous when you are talking about fixed plans

Present Simple


Use the present simple when we're talking about things on a timetable or a schedule. 


For example: flights or opening/start times

Be going to + verb

Use ' be going to + verb'  when you want to show intention. 


Note: just like present continuous it can be used for plans, but it suggests it is not a fixed plan (yet).

You also use this tense to predict something based on visible evidence.

Future Simple


Use the future simple when you want to express a prediction which is not based on visible evidence

or when you want to express a promise
