On a scale of one to sheep; how do you feel today?

P2 learning-goals (are English):

• You can apply the past, the present, and the future tenses accordingly 
• You can determine and explain the difference between the subject and the main idea of various written and spoken texts.
  
• You can determine sentences' appropriate structures (statements, interrogative, imperative)
• You practice Conversational English (you have two verbal exams upcoming end of this-, or start of next year)

• Refresh our memory of the different grammatical tenses.
  
• Insight in own Grammar for sentences by making Test yourself! 1.7-10 (TB)
• Practice Conjunctions, Sentence structure, Interrogative and Imperative sentences) in Taalblokken Module 4: Grammar/Spelling A2 (7-10).

Periode A

Tenses

Can you name an English tense?

Present Simple & Continuous

Present Simple = feiten & gewoontes (never, seldom, always)
- Verb (tt) & +'s' when subject is he/she/it
- "I walk"  &  "He walks"

Present Continuous = nu aan de gang  /  in nabije toekomst 
- to be (am / is / are) + werkwoord + -ing 
- "I am walking"  &   "He is walking"   &   "We are walking"

Past Simple & Continuous

Past Simple = Action in the past, is done
- Verb+ -(e)d  / OR irregular verb (drank/hit/brought, etc)
- "I walked"   &   "He walked"

Past Continuous = ongoing action in the past
- Past tense 'to be' (was / were) + verb + ing)
- "I was walking"   &   "We were walking"

Present & Past Perfect

Present Perfect = Started in the past and is still relevant 
- have/has & verb +(e)d OR irregular verb: past participle (taken, cut, broken, etc.)
- "I have walked"   &   "He has walked"
Past Perfect = Action in het past before another action
- had & verb + (e)d  OR irregular verb: past participle 
- "I had walked"   &   "He had walked"
