Je gebruikt de present continuous wanneer je wil aangeven dat iets op dit moment gebeurt.

She is working on her speech at the moment.

They are playing with each other.

Het werkwoord 'to be' = 'zijn' in het Nederlands. Het is een onregelmatige werkwoord.

De drie verschillende vormen in de tegenwoordige tijd van het werkwoord 'to be' zijn: 

am, is & are

positieve zin met het werkwoord 'to be': I am happy / I'm happy

Negatieve zin met het werkwoord 'to be': She is not happy / She isn't happy

Vraagzin met het werkwoord 'to be': Are you happy?

This / that / these / those

• Possessive = bezittelijk
• Pronoun = voornaamwoord

We use the first row with possessive pronouns at the beginning of a noun phrase.

The meaning is similar, but the words that follow (or don't) are different
