Much or Many

Much and Many both mean a lot

Use Much for words that are uncountable:

sugar, money, time, enz.

Use many for words that are countable:

Euros, friends, minutes, enz.

A lot of 

We usually use a lot of when we talk about positive sentences. 

Peter drinks a lot of water. 

She has a lot of books.

We use should+infinitive (hele werkwoord)

Remember? Example: You should ....

Or: you shouldn't....

(zou/zouden moeten)

Have/has to

Someone telling you what you have to do.

Remember?

You have to listen to me!

You have to go to school.

You have to be careful.

If you tell yourself you need to ...

I must go to bed early because I was far too tired this morning!

I must study for the test or I'll fail.

Or: if there's no other possibility.

Example: My keys must be in my coat, I've looked everywhere..

Speaking in pairs

Work with the person next to you, one of you will be A, the other B. 

Have a conversation in which you give each other advice about a problem.

Person A:

- Describe your problem to person B

- Ask "What do you think I should do?"

Person B:

- Ask questions to better understand.

- Give advice to person A "You should ....."

Switch roles after one and a half minutes!
