Chapter 7

The kids decide they go back to the house (and not stay in the barn). Daisy gets a letter from her Dad and her best friend Leah.

The bombing are now taking place in the USA as well,  but not yet in NYC.

Chapter 8

Osbert is in charge of the kids, as he is the oldest. Isaac is always quiet and Daisy wants to get to know him a bit better.

Isaac has more with animals than people.

Chapter 9

Two men from the council came to the house and are surprised to find no parents or guardians.

Meanwhile, London is now occupied and the BBC has been taken over. People are panicking. 

Daisy and Edmond have their first kiss.
