Imperative = gebiedende wijs

+	bevestigende zin > wel moet doen	Start met het hele ww	Keep your head up.
-	ontkennende zin > niet moet doen	Start met don't daarna het hele ww	Don't look down.

The articles a/an

An is used for a noun starting with: vowels - sound

(An gebruiken we bij znw die starten met een klinker-klank)

an ear            an investigation         an officer

* an hour > je zegt (h)our > klinker klank

 

Lidwoorden = articles = a/an/the

 een ..........: a / an

de / het ..........: the

een tafel - a table           een ei - an egg

The articles a/an

 

A is put before nouns starting with: consonant - sound

(A gebruiken we bij znw die beginnen met een 

medeklinker-klank)

* a unicorn > je zegt (j)unicorn > medeklinker klank
