the past tense! (verleden tijd) 

Yesterday I played football with me and my mates. It was a lot of fun. We went to the football court near the city park. We eventually lost the match, but we had great fun. I didn't mind losing at all. Afterwards, we watched the ice-skating event that was broadcast on television.

* je geeft de verleden tijd aan door een -ed achter REGELMATIGE werkwoorden te plakken. (als er een 'e' staat -> d)
