Present simple --> Past simple

Past simple --> Past perfect

Present continuous --> Past continuous 
"I am typing an e-mail", she said. 
She said that she was typing an e-mail. 
Present perfect --> Past perfect 
"I have seen the fancy new phone", he said. 
He said that he had seen the fancy new phone. 
will --> would

am/are/is going to --> was/were + going to
