Before reading

We will look at a few pictures of different kinds of food, look at these pictures and think about if you ever want to try these dishes (gerechten).

I am going to give some of you a turn  to answer if you would or wouldn't eat these dishes and why.

Haggis (Ground sheep brain, liver and heart)

Fried octopus skewers

Ratatouille 

Before reading

• Look at the title of the text, the pictures and the difficult words on the bottom right below the picture (page 165).

• What do you think the text will be about?

• Write your answers down on page 164 exercise 45b.

Read the text and answer this question

• Read the text on page 165 and answer this question:
•    Can insects only be eaten as a whole?

• If you are done start making exercise 45D & 45E.

• Do this in silence!

Make the exercises

• Answer questions 45D & 45E 46A and 47.
• Pages 166 and 167

• You may discuss with your own groups.

Homework:

• Write this down in your plendas for the 30th of November!

• Finish exercises 45D & 45E, 46A and 47.
