When do you use the Present Continuous? How do you make it?

They work on Friday.

They can't come. They are working.

Past Continuous

Past Continuous = longer moment in past

Het gaat over iets dat:

• in het verleden (past) 
• een tijd bezig (continuous) was 

Je maakt het met:

• een vorm van to be
• ing-vorm

I was dancing	I wasn't dancing	Was I dancing?
You were laughing	You weren't lauging	Were you laughing?

Past Continuous wordt samen met de Past Simple gebruikt.
