Adverbs of Frequency geven aan hoe vaak iets wel of niet gebeurt.

Always = altijd

Usually = meestal

Often = vaak

Sometimes = soms

Hardly ever = bijna nooit

never = nooit

Adverbs of Frequency kunnen op 2 plaatsen komen te staan in de zin:

1. Vóór het hoofdwerkwoord (I always go to school)

2. Achter een vorm van to be: AM/ ARE/ IS  (I am never late)
