Deze twee woorden worden gebruikt om vergelijkingen te maken. Ze worden allebei hetzelfde vertaald: namelijk 'net als'.
Dat ruikt net als honing - It smells like honey
Zij zingt net zoals die beroemdheid - She sings like that celebrity
Wij drinken vaak thee, net zoals in China - We often drink tea, as they do in China
