Marit

I am a vegetarian. I consciously do not eat meat, because I find it strange to kill animals for the sake of animals and then enjoy it myself.

Not eating meat does mean that I have to think carefully about what I do eat. Meat contains nutrients that your body needs, such as protein, iron and certain vitamins. I make sure that I get those nutrients by eating other things.

The food pyramid helps me with this.
