Gebruik

Signaalwoorden:

yesterday, last (week/month/etc), ...ago, jaartallen

Past Perfect voorbeelden

When I came home my mother had already cooked dinner for us.

He had never seen that film before he saw it last week.

Past Perfect

Gebruik:

* Om aan te geven dat iets al (of nog niet) klaar was vóórdat het volgende gebeurde

Vorm:

(+) had + voltooid deelwoord (werkwoord+ed of 3e vorm)

(-) hadn't + voltooid deelwoord

(?) Had + onderwerp + voltooid deelwoord

before, after, when, yet, ever, never, just, already
