The present continuous tense indicates that an action is happening now and will continue in the future or will happen in the near future.

Rose is reading a book in her hotel.
I am taking the train to my friend tomorrow.

Om een actieve zin passief te maken, moet het lijdend voorwerp vooraan in de zin komen te staan, als onderwerp van de passieve zin.

'The mouse' wordt onderwerp van de passieve zin --> komt vooraan te staan
'chases' is een present simple --> present simple van "to be" --> is
gevolgd door het voltooid deelwoord van 'chase' --> chased
