Lesson Set-Up
Welcome + Attendance --> Article chosen for Wrap up test SE 2: "Sensitivity: Sensible or Senseless?"
Lesson goals (5 min.)
QotW (5 min.)
/ 2 GD groups team up:
  • Form an inner and outer circle (as best you can);
  • The inner group picks a statement and discusses it 360 degrees (roughly 10 min.);
  • The students in the outer group seperately pick 1 student from the inner group to assess according to the rubric;
  • After the discussion, the peer from the outer circle gives (constructive!) feedback to the peer who has been observed;
  • The peer from the outer circle grades the student from the inner circle (all in all around 5 min.);
  • The groups switch place and the cycle is repeated (I'll be timing you per round)  (30 min.) (group work / pair work)
 / Done? --> Go and sit in your GD group again, and reflect + take notes on how your practice session went (10 min.)
Homework:
Bring your GD statements and laptop to class --> same exercise
